Katie Compton without sponsor
Press Release
Katie Compton lost her sponsor Spike Shooter without warning this summer and is currently still without a sponsor. Spike Shooter had originally agreed to pay Compton until she located a new sponsor has suddenly without warning stopped paying Compton. While Compton's accomplishments have earned her the most successful US Cyclocross rider in history it doesn't appear to be enough to locate a sponsor for the season.
Compton, the current US Shorttrack champion increased her mountain bike racing this season with a win a the Teva Mountain Games and placed second to Luna's Catherine Pendrel in the cross country at the US Cup in Colorado Springs. Compton is hoping to increase her season to include the US Cup rounds and select MTB World Cup events plus a possible selection to the UCI Mountain Bike world championships this year held in Australia.
Compton and her husband are hopeful they can locate a sponsor however time is running short which may lead to Compton not racing this season.
Potential sponsors should contact Katie and Mark at
